Hello, I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Functional Wellness Center of Omaha, I’m Dr. Scott Sizenbach. I know you have looked at other offices in which to receive care and I appreciate you taking a look at ours.
As luck would have it, few years ago I severely injured myself while lifting my step-daughter out of my car. This severely affected my ability to work and I even contemplated the idea of getting surgery.
So I put my money where my mouth is and put myself through the SpineMED Decompression treatments you are looking at on this website. These treatments not only helped me avoid surgery but as of today I am still pain free.
This gave me a unique position of understanding what my patients will go through and as a result completely changed how I treated my patients. I realized most health care providers (and even myself at the time) were doing it all wrong when it comes to disc related injuries. Since I changed my approach our results have been sky high.
You see I’ve never thought it was fair that I get know everything about my patients but they don’t get to know anything about me. I was born in Davenport, Iowa and moved to Omaha when I was 4 years old. I attended Millard North High School and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
I then received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. I have been in practice for 17 years and to date have performed over 75,000 different patient treatments.
My significant other (Sarah) handles most of your insurance details and between us we have 7 total children (aka the Brady Bunch).
At our office we work very hard at making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive and long after you have left. We make it a point to get to know you and your family, because you're not just a number at our office.
This has been an opportunity to share a bit more about health, our office, and myself. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss any concerns you may have about our treatments at anytime.
If you decide to become a patient at our office I feel it’s important that you and I work together as a partnership with your good health and my reputation as the by-product of that relationship. I will never do anything to jeopardize either of these.
Hope to see you soon!
